Recently we installed 725m² of porous resin bound surfacing as part of an initiative to provide high quality paths to improve conditions for walking and cycling around the town of Penarth, Cardiff.
Parts of the disused railway line, known locally as Railway Walk, have been transformed with porous Terrabound resin bound surfacing which provides walkers and cyclists with a smooth, seamless pathway using natural aggregates. After consultation, a 6mm Rhine Gold aggregate was selected and work was completed within 2.5 days to minimise disruption to the path's users. The result is an attractive, hard wearing, low maintenance, porous surface which is accessible for walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists all year round.
